8 Ideas for Daily Self Care Habits

Self-care does not and should not be limited to a hashtag on Sundays. There are daily habits to help us look after our health mentally, emotionally and physically.

  1. Make your bed.

  2. Use a traditional alarm clock and turn off your electronics at night.

  3. Change your sheets once a week. Nothing like crisp clean sheets to fall into.

  4. Journal daily for 10 minutes.

  5. Get enough rest.

  6. Drink 8 glasses of water or 64 oz a day.

  7. Go for walks and study nature.

  8. Breathing exercises in the morning and evening.

It is said it takes an average of 66 days to form a new habit so why not take one of these ideas and try to be consistent with it. Be patient, Rome wasn't built in a day!
